A night out in the with the ThickFramers

On one night out in the town I ran into more ThickFramers. Even within my own friends the trend is spreading. Here are some pictures. Now the question we have to answers is WHY do the ThickFramers wear this type of frames?

What is a ThickFramer?

A ThickFramer is a person that loves to wear frames without lenses, just for the sake of achieving a geek and more fashionable.  These frames are usually made out of acetate, one of their characteristics is that they are thick. No matter if you are a girl or boy, this is definitely a trend that is spreading. It started in Taiwan and Hong Kong and slowly is spreading all over the world. So if you want to be "IN" you need to follow the trend.

Here you will find a few examples that I ran into on the school's campus in Hong Kong Polytechnic.

The new trend: ThickFramers

As a reference, here you will find a link to a very interesting article, about someone who like us notice this new trend when he visited Taiwan.
